SOSSAS Salon Series

November 12 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

You’re Invited: SOSSAS Salon Series

Date: Wednesday, November 12
Time: 6:00–7:30 PM
Location: 1824 Sundance Dr., Longmont, Colorado

Join us for the first gathering of the SOSSAS Salon Series, an evening of food, conversation, and community. We’ll provide a main dish and salad, and we ask that you please bring an appetizer, side dish, or dessert to share.

This salon will feature a group discussion facilitated by Mike Butler, exploring a guiding question that invites reflection and dialogue. We’ll also experience a demonstration of Clean Talk with Carol Setters, a dedicated student of all SOSSAS classes held in Longmont.

What is a salon?
Historically, salons were vibrant gatherings in homes where people came together to exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, and build intellectual and social community. From Enlightenment thinkers in 18th-century Paris to contemporary living-room forums, salons have always been spaces for curiosity, connection, and civic imagination.

This new series responds to student requests for more time to meet, reflect, and build community following our recent classes on Stewardship Principles as a Basis for Leadership and the Pints & Perspectives Series in partnership with Left Hand Brewery.

Whether you’re a longtime SOSSAS participant or newly curious, we welcome you to this evening of shared food and thoughtful conversation.

RSVP to Carol Engel-Enright by November 10 at 303-517-2583. Come as you are.
