SOSSAS is a non-political organization working to create unity, accountability, respect, and compassion in our society among citizens, leaders, and organizations by educating all stakeholders on civility, servant leadership, civil discourse, and much more. As we have been working on the programming and development of our course offerings, we have heard time and again how much the world needs this education and movement.
It seems that we, as a society, have hit the breaking point from the ill-effects of the ever-increasing divisiveness between different groups. SOSSAS courses are designed to create a manner of communication that encourages statespeople to constructively make their point without being personal and dehumanizing others.
In a recent Denver Post opinion piece “Why is decorum so important in legislative bodies?”, there are early signs that Colorado legislature is beginning to move in the right direction. The call for a cultural shift is growing. Will you join us and answer that call?
Here are some practical ways you can get involved:
- Sign-up for SOSSAS Level III on the Common Good, starting April 11th. This is a “can’t miss” class for business owners, government officials, community leaders – even parents! – on the art and skill of creating and shifting culture centered around the common good of everyone.
- Follow SOSSAS on social media. This is a key way we build community and connect with each other. You can find us Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
- If this mission resonates with you, consider donating to SOSSAS. All donations are tax deductible and go towards operations required to offer and teach our courses.
- Share SOSSAS with others by inviting them to join our newsletter.
Together, we can create evolved civility. Join us!
